Colwick Hall Hotel is an 11th Century Country house set in Colwick Country Park, just 2 miles from Nottingham City Centre. Formerly the home of Lord Byron and his family for over 150 years, there are subtle hints to the Poet and his works throughout the house and it’s grounds, adding to the history and significance of the house.
The conference will be held in the heated marquee, set in the hotel’s grounds and overlooking the lake, providing plenty of space both indoor and out for people to meet, talk, and enjoy the experience.
As a conference venue, Colwick Hall provides a sense of occasion and grandeur that others cannot match, providing the perfect setting for #PWDC16, offering attendees a weekend they will surely never forget.
Transport from the hall to the city centre on the Saturday evening will be provided for those who have purchased full weekend tickets, otherwise taxis will be readily available and it is only a 10 minute journey!
